NEWTON’S THIRD LAW
This packaging was developed as part of an elective course project, where the challenge was to choose an object and creatively explain the scientific principle that makes it function. The goal was to communicate this concept through the design of the packaging itself, making the science behind the object engaging and easily understandable for consumers.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
We chose a tin toy boat, a popular and nostalgic Indian street toy that evokes fond memories for many adults. We decided to reposition it through packaging as a souvenir for tourists that can be sold on airport shops.
This boat functions on various scientific principals including - Steam Propulsion, Thermodynamics, Condensation Cycle, Newton's Third Law of Motion, and Hydrodynamics.
